FAQ

We all have questions about life. Here are a few questions and answers we find ourselves asking about God, Faith and Existence. We attempt to answer all questions according to God’s Word.

[reveal title="Who Made God?" open="false" color="blue"]Not surprisingly we get this question at times. No one made God. God is Self-Existent. God has no beginning and no end. God goes on to say of Himself.

“I am the Lord, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me.” Isaiah 45:5.

There goes Greek Mythology out the door. God goes on to question self-righteous Job

“Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me.
“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements? Surely you know!” Job 38: 3-5.

If God would as us the same questions we would have no answers. The question should rather be why did God make us?[/reveal][reveal title="Could God be a woman?" open="false" color="blue"]You could say this is a a fair question after all, all men are born of a woman. We speak of mother nature. The bible says of Jesus that

“The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.” Col 1:15-16

Jesus who is God is a man. God gives all His creation purpose and value. However if we look a God incarnate Jesus, we find women are more than appreciated. Jesus said daughter thy faith had made you well. Paul goes unto say,

” Nevertheless, neither is man independent of woman, nor woman independent of man, in the Lord. For as woman came from man, even so man also comes through woman; but all things are from God.” 1 Cor 11:11-12

[/reveal][reveal title="Why is Christianity so exclusive?" open="false" color="blue"]Christianity receives all people across the globe. God receives all people across the globe. By whom the who family of the earth is named. God cares for us all on planet earth. Jesus spoke of the two individuals who received grace apart from the Jewish Nation.

“But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a great famine throughout all the land; but to none of them was Elijah sent except to Zarephath, in the region of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow. And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian.” Luke 4:26-27

God is adamant about is there is only one way to come to Him. Jesus. We all have rights as human beings, shouldn’t God have to right to choose how He would like to be approached?[/reveal][reveal title="What about other religions?" open="false" color="blue"]The scripture describes us on planet earth as “sheep who have gone astray.” Isaiah 53:6 The scripture also talks about God overlooking the ignorance of idol worship.

“Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising. Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,” Acts 17:29-30

Most important Jesus is

“the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.” John 1:9

No matter the culture or religion all humans share a conscience – an auction that bears witness to right or wrong. The auction that bear witness to injustice and cruelty. Jesus Christ is the origin of all moral thought. Jesus Christ says

“But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” – John 3:21

Religion comes into conflict because it not original. Religion is man’s organized feeble attempt to right before God. God has chosen the gospel “the good news” as the message to save men. Jesus is the truth. Jesus points out the sin in any culture any heart and says I’m the cure. Jesus is the cure for original sin. Religion hates God because He sheds light on the hypocrisy of self effort. For example God made clothes for Adam and Eve after they fell, what if they turned to God and say the leave we had were much better to cover with. We both know that would be a lie because if it could really cover them, He would not have killed an animal to make a better covering.[/reveal][reveal title="How can I know Jesus is real?" open="false" color="blue"]Jesus said this to a group of religious leaders

“Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.” John 7:17

A good way is by doing what He says in the gospels. This takes delegence and Hebrew says “God is a rewarder of those delegently seek him”. Heb 11:6 In James He encourages us to draw near to God. James 4:8

If is for this reason we cannot comdemn a persons faith. The better word for judge is condemn. When Jesus says “judge not least you be judge.” it’s better translated “condemn not least you be condemn.” To condemn something or someone is very strong, however if I should way or measure behavior based on truth that is not condemning, but rather critquing. A person may start in one movement on there spiritual journey, who and am I to condemn. For this reason the scripture encourages to speak truth in love – Eph. 4:15

Light can cast a shadow and some could be coming out of the shadow into His marvelous light of Christ. Jesus says He who believes in me will not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. Jesus said if I be lifted up, He will draw all men to me.

Follow Him even for a day, test the waters.[/reveal]
